Since 1925, Sigma Lambda Chapter has been a pillar in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the City of New Orleans. We are building on that strong legacy by continuing to prioritize brotherhood, service, leadership, and achievement. From A.P. Tureaud and Dutch Morial to Emmett Bashful and Charles Teamer, Sr., the men of Alpha Phi Alpha have stood up and helped lead at defining moments in our city for more than 90 years..
